The Moviemento is a Berlin based cinema located at Kottbusser Damm in Berlin-Kreuzberg. It was opened in 1907 and is the oldest still existing cinema in Germany. The unique characteristic in the original architecture were the two cinema halls which were adjacent to each other in a 45 degree angular. Through a special mirror construction both halls could be played at at the same time.
Today there are three cinema halls, a forth additional one in the making - and the cinema is still on the first floor of the building. The moviemento cinema has a black and red coloured bar at the back, a small café lounge in the front next to the counter.
